Personal Home Care and Assistance Services

Our Qualified Caregivers have the experience and compassion to provide assistance with everyday personal care tasks, such as:

  • Assisting with morning and evening routines

  • Bathing (showers, baths, sponge baths, bed baths)

  • Restroom activities (toilet assistance, incontinence, accident monitoring)

  • Personal hygiene/grooming (hair care, skincare, oral care, nail care)

  • Dressing (clothing selection and assistance)

  • Mobility (transfers, walking, range of motion exercises, light exercise)

Meal Preparation and Diet Planning Services

Meal and snack preparation services include:

  • Preparing meals and light snacks, with the client if they desire

  • Ensuring the kitchen is clean following the meal

  • Focusing on healthy diet meals (by request), which may include low sodium or diabetic diets

  • Monitoring food freshness

  • Monitoring the nutritional value of clients’ diets, including protein levels

Professional Medication Management

Medication management services include:

  • Assistance in developing a medication schedule

  • Review of medication regimen

  • Create a complete list of the patient’s prescribed and over-the-counter medicines

  • Educate patient and/or caregiver on proper dosage, frequency, and side effects

  • Evaluate response to medications and effectiveness

  • Communicate with patient's doctor for optimum outcome

Medicine safety tips

  • Check the label and expiration date on all medicines before taking

  • Keep all caps on medicine bottles and away from children and pets

  • Do not mix medicines in the same bottle

  • Keep medicine, including pills and IV bags, away from sunlight

  • Store medicines at the correct temperature

  • Tell the visiting nurse, doctor, or pharmacist if you see any changes in the medicine’s color, size, or smell

  • Keep the Poison Control Center phone number (800-222-1222) near the phone

Senior Transportation and Errands Service

What types of services are available?

Our Qualified Caregivers have the experience and compassion to provide assistance with everyday personal care tasks, such as:

  • Doctor or therapy appointments, including disability assistance throughout the trip

  • Hospital or outpatient facility

  • Prescription pick-up, grocery shopping, and other errands

  • Visits with friends, relatives, social and religious functions Entertainment events

  • Mobility (transfers, walking, range of motion exercises, light exercise)

Companionship and Recreation

The role of companion care changes based on the senior and their needs. It is a service that can be applied at home. In general terms, companion care spans both the social and physical care of a senior or couple. The goal of companion care as a service is to:

  • Provide emotional support

  • Improve the quality of life of the senior

  • Provide companionship for the senior

  • Companion care can also include physical care such as grocery shopping, house cleaning, and chores that support or that maintain the independence of a senior or couple.

Companion care should enable the senior to enjoy life.
